Joseph Peleg

| Joseph Peleg, a native of Hungary, spent his youth in Israel. He came to Canada in 1968 to study with Lorand Fenyves, earning his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Toronto. He subsequently received his Masters of Music degree from Indiana University while working with Josef Gingold. Mr. Peleg also worked with the eminent virtuosi, Joseph Szigeti and Nathan Milstein in Europe.
His intense interest and passion for chamber music as well as solo performance has involved him in numerous engagements and recordings in Canada, the United States, Israel, and throughout Europe, including, among others, Belgian Radio, Radio Bremen, Dublin, Finnish Broadcasting, Norwegian and Swedish Radio. Joseph has been teaching and coaching violin for over 40 years and is well known and respected by his students and peers. |
