Participants are responsible for having their own accompanist for their performances. Performances of concerto should begin just a few measures before the solo entrance and participants should discuss with their accompanist about standard cuts in the accompaniment portions of the music.
Using pieces from the RCM syllabus is encouraged but not mandatory as long as the level of difficult is equivalent to the grade indicated.
All concerti must be memorized. Memorization for other pieces is optional.
Original music with indicate page no. must be provided for the Adjudicator.
Participants cannot perform the same piece in more than one class.
Brass Classes
BJ-1 Age 10 and under 5 minutes with Free Choice $40
BJ-2 Age 13 and under 8 minutes
RCM grade 5 or above: Etude + piece (own choice) $45
BS-1 Age 15 and under 10 minutes
RCM grade 7 or above: Etude + Concerto/Sonata $50
Bs-2 Age 17 and under 15 minutes
RCM grade 9 or above：Concerto/Sonata (2 movements) + 20th century piece $60
