Seniors Community Grants, to help community organizations’ ability to provide opportunities for greater social inclusion, volunteerism and community engagement for older adults, from the safety of their homes or other safe environments.

The project aims to build a platform for a pilot run to connect 100 low-income Chinese Canadian seniors with children and youths to establish brand new 40 e-families. The e-families will be bonded as a team to join free 20 weekly art learning, 24 weekly virtual connections and 2 art galleries to develop an enjoyable art learning lifelong habit and a regeneration routine for mind rehabilitation. After the project ends, this value-added art training program integrated with mental health early prevention and intervention features will be expanded to other cultural communities to maximize the benefit to more seniors.
